This workshop explores postpartum mental health, intrusive thoughts, trauma informed care, and Indigenous perspectives on help seeking and healthcare experiences.
Drawing from lived experience, patient partnership, and publicly available perinatal mental health research, participants will examine how healthcare responses can influence trust, communication, safety, and patient outcomes.
Ideal for: Maternity teams, nurses, physicians, social workers, mental health professionals, Indigenous health teams, and healthcare leadership.
