Navigating healthcare systems can feel overwhelming, particularly when families are already dealing with illness, stress, or past experiences that have impacted trust. This workshop provides practical information and tools that help participants better understand how healthcare systems work, what supports are available, and how to advocate for themselves and their loved ones.

These facilitated circles create opportunities for mothers to connect, reflect, learn, and explore Indigenous perspectives on parenting, identity, wellness, and community.
Sessions are grounded in lived experience and may incorporate cultural teachings, Indigenous perspectives on wellness, traditional knowledge, experiential exercises, reflection activities, guest Elders or Knowledge Holders where available, and facilitated discussion tailored to the needs of the community.
Available as individual sessions or multi session series.
